Nearly every post I make is posted twice.. [Archive]

This just started happening within the last day or so, but every time I make a post (reply), my post is created TWICE...so I have to go back and delete the second one.

Anybody else getting this as well?

Probably because you press "Submit" twice.

no thats not the problem, ive been haveing a similar problem. It posts the first post then attempts to post it again, fortunatly I get the "you can post for 20 seconds" thing.

^^He's right...same thing happens to me..

after my message gets posted....it goes to Advanced Window and it says at teh top that you can't post for another 20+sec

read what DP said at the bottom. It is a problem thwey are working on. So all you people who keep making threads like these can now stop so they can just fix it without having 15 threads with people complaining about it.

I only hit Submit ONCE like everybody else here who is having problems.

I'm using Firefox 1.5 if that makes a difference.

I've been having the same trouble. I always get the "you can only post every 20/15/10 seconds on this forum please try again in (2 seconds off the limit) seconds"

Good to hear it's being worked on.

yeah there definatley a problem with it.

Another board im on had the same problem as in it would hang for ages when you went to submit then when it finally went through you would have posted several times.

Or somtimes you'd give up and click off it but then find 10 minutes later your post is there.

It turned out to be a SQL problem, my guess its the same problem here.
