Startup Staic crash

WHen i click to start up my Battlefield 2 it goes normal but when it starts to run the flashing beginning where they do that dice logo ect everything goes static and all the images break. Then my screen goes black. After that i have to turn off and turn back on my monitor which then i have my screen again, and an error message comes up saying Couldn't run bf2.exe. Also i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it putting the proper patchs on in the proper order, it was fixed but tthen 2nd time i tried to go on same problem. Any ideas?

add-on: It seems to be that the beginning intro might be messed up because now i can go on and play but have to go threw the weird staic errory start up.

There is a way to get rid of the into movies, but I forgot how. It is probaly somewhere in the forums, try searching for it.
