Ok, i'm getting FRUSTRATED! I can run bf2 at low settings, but the bad part is that I have to wait atleast 20 minutes to play it.It's a great game, EA has made another masterpiece. ( IM SORRY DOOM 3! ) And what's worse is that i'm trying to find a PCI-E MOBO and a GeForce 6600GT.I'm guessing around 170-200$.Well thats not THAT bad.

What i had to do is go into My Computer\Owner\Battlefield 2\Profile\0001\Video.com
and change my settings in there. It was at 4 everything when i first installed it.So i changed it to 3 all, and it ran better, 2 all..even more better, but 1 all.Well, it was pratically the same.WOW I GOT OFF TOPIC! Anyhoo what's gonna be terrible is that I have to find a MOBO that is exactly like mine, ( So my RAM, Processor, ect. can fit )
but PCI-E.

Who out there has Alienware/or SLI cards? If anyone does...i'll trade you a nickel for it!
Ok, I gotta go.Thanks alot EA, i'm happy, even though it STILL choppy on low.

EA rarely views these boards. And read the system requirements before buying games, and also go onto fan sites such as this, you'll get a much better idea of what type of system you need to run the game ;)

He's exactly right..that's a pretty poor system to expect BF2 to run at anything higher than low and at any reasonable performance.

I just wish it wasn't so...
