Why is it that every couple of days this site just slows down to a crawl and why is it happening more since myis got involved with this site? Thanks.

I believe the reason is that the site is going through some changes, its been updated often to enhance site features so i believe that may be the reason site is slow sometimes, and its run on myis servers, so they might be doing some work with that.

As mentioned before, we are aware of this and we are attempting to find a way to resolve these issues. We will soon be upgrading the server to increase performance and hopefully manage to optimize it aswell.

I'm not bothered about it (its noramlly fixed with in the hour) or when its going to be fixed (i know you guys have things to do in the real world) i was just wondering what actually causes it.

What causes it? Well I'm not too sure myself, the main thing is the size of the database that gets larger and larger each day. Plus, I have to keep up with content, and install new scripts and hacks to regulate everyone. It really adds up, you're bound to have slower load times.

But ofcourse, we won't settle for slow speeds. We're going to be upgrading our server pretty soon, so no worries.
