"Packet Flow" Error

Hi guys!


I'm posting here for a friend of mine, he's not very good at english, so he asked me if I'f do it. - And here I am. ;)


Anyway, to the problem;

When he joins a server, any server, he'll get about 30 seconds, to a minute of playing, then he gets kicked and the following error message appears.

It's weird, because when he first got the game (at the release), and played it online unpatched, there was no problems. Then he didn't play it for a while, then installed it again and pacthed to 1.03 and got the error message.

Then he once again installed it after a reformat, and patched to 1.12 and still got the error messages.:confused:

His PC specs: (roughly, I'll check with him for chipsets and such if needed)

478 P4 Prescott 3.0 GHz
1x1024 Mb RAM Kingston PC3200
ASUS nVidia GeForce 6800GT 128Mb
Maxtor 120Gb 8 Mb Cache

Has he updated punkbuster?

Old updater: (MUST be run from the Battlefield 2\pb subdirectory)

Punkbuster isn't able to talk to your install of BF2 properly.

It's normally because you haven't updated PB since the last install or a firewall is blocking PB access to the 'net.

Yes this was widespread a week ago and still evident in people that haven't updated to the latest version of pb.
