hey,
i have had the anti- alaising on 6x but lately its been fudging up i.e big black walls everywhere and everything but terrian dissapears :cool: oh yeah..
lol anyways i went to turn the aa down to 2x and it sid i had to restart game... so i did, no diffrence still got the buggy graphics.
so i restarted my pc...but still go 6x aa and bodgy graphics, i think its the same with all my graphics they just dont change.
radeon 9800pro 128mb
3.0ghz
any ideas?

For starters, you might want to goto :Mydocuments/BF2/Mods/BF2/Cache and delete any files/folders in the Cache Folder. If there is more than one File in there BF2 might get confused and not load your Graphics properly.

my guess is my graphics card is dieing..:cry: which is annoying coz im trying to sell my pc!

so obviosly the game is unplayable since i cant see anything in the game and i cant trun the graphics down or change them...lol
specs are:
3.0ghz p4
radeon 9800 pro 128
1 gig ddr ram
asus p4p800d
ok i lil off topic....how come you got up to 6x AA while the highest I see on the options is 4x AA....????
My specs are
AMD Athlon 3500+
1GB DDR XMS
XFX Geforce 7800GT
SATA II HD

this could be totally way off but i had a problem where my graphic settings wouldnt change (i didnt get up messed up textures tho) and i would change them and htey wouldnt do anything, so i just set the overall quality to low or maybe for u medium (so it applies default) and loaded the game and my settings changed...but i also think that this could be a problem with overheating maybe or drivers

Dont use the AA in the game us the AA of ur video card.
probs coz youve got pci-e card.... and they have special aa, mines an agp
