What is a referral?

I was just checking out my User CP and notices that i had 1 referral. I don't know what this means, and I would like to read the referral. Is this a bad thing? I can't recall ever doing anything bad on this site....:confused: Please, any clarification on this matter would be appreciated, thanks.

When people register for the site, they are asked who brought them to the site. Your name must have been filled in if you referred someone to the site, thus you have 1 referral. So nope, it's not a bad thing. :)

You dont get any bonuses for the more referrals you have or anything, btw.
