TBF2 Map Packs = Rank Server?

Were my eyes decieving me the whole day yesterday playing on TotalBF2's 64 man map pack server because I know I was receiving rewards and it showed to be a RANKED server. So EA/DICE is allowing Map Pack Servers to be Ranked now or is this just something you guys are tesing for EA/DICE? Well I surely hope it works out because I love this last map pack release it was awesome very awesome. Heck I have been playing them since day 1 and lost interest in RANKS btw.

Its not recording ranks. You can get awards, but they doesent get saved to your official rank. It shows your rank in your name, and thats good cause people have worked to get those ranks, and some players want to show them.

Well gee dont you think its a little deceiving in a way? I dont care because Ranks went out the door a while back for me because I feel custom maps are better playing and enjoyment than ranks. And what I mean by deceiving is the server shows it to be a Ranked server so this is actually deceiving....:) but if I am thinking in the right direction do I foresee TotalBF2 having their own Ranking system for custom maps sometime in the future?
