Loading Server

ok for some odd reason i cannot join a server now. I click the join server and it justs completely closes the game on me (crash to desktop), no errors or anything i dont even see the loading screen at all, i thought i might be directx related so i ran some tests and notta. anyone else have ideas, any help be appreciated.

I had this happen to me twice today for the first time ever of owning BF2 and SF... it must be something with the network or netcode.

note: sometimes the game's resources would load and before the join game option the game would just shut down...****es me off
