You must be in Level editor mode then - top bar the button with a C and little red lines through it - Combat area - Click it
It is easiest to be looking at your map from a top down perspective.
Start at any place you want a border to be on your map to start the combat area and right click > add control point.
Do this all the way around your map until the last line you make is back to the starting point - right click again on the first control point that was made > add control point - it will ask if you want to close the combat area and say yes.
Tip - Make sure to be within the bounds of the primary heightmap or your combat zone will cover parts of your map that was not intended.
Also when goin around corners it is good practice to make them rounded by making smaller lines to make a curve instead of just a square box.
