got a 6800 gt 256 meg card and thinking about an upgrade to a 7800.

can anyone post a putfile or video (or screen shots ) elsewhere of a 7800 in action on BF2 before I decide to part with my hard earned.

Thanks

You realize video and screenshots don't mean **** right.

Video will lose quality due to compression, and pics don't show how fludily the game flows and will also lose quality unless in .png format.

That being said a 7800 series at all high will have the same image quality asyour 6800GT at all high.

well my 6800 is pretty cool already with all settings at high, I just fancied an upgrade

I'd hold off unless you absoultly need the lastest and greatest. Or at least wait until the 7900 series comes out and the 7800s drop in price.

7900. a 6800gt compared to ANY 7800 in bf2 isnt much if you have 2GB of ram. you cant really tell the diff. Maybe AA at 4x instead of 2x. not worth it if you are only gonna paly bf2. BUT, if you really want to get one now... I would go with a 300$ 7800gt. Stock 7800gt and GTX perform really close in performance, so overclock the GT and it will perform just like a GTX! and if you are rich and dont wanna OC, get a 450$ GTX OR, if your are Bill Gates and dont dont care, get the eVGA 7800GTX KO edition ^_^ *feels tingly when he mentions it*. lol, but my GT suggestion is better. or do what jimmy said.
