i bought BF2 patched it , i bought SF - uninstalled BF2 , reinstalled BF2 installed SF patched it,, now!

everytime i go to play map on BF2 or BF2SF the map loads up to "geometries" and it crashes me back to the desktop and BF2 dissapeares without leaving me a note :(

i know someone out there has had this prob pretty PLZ help me:confused:

First, you can try looking in you '\My Documents\Battlefield 2\dmp' directory to see if any helpful debug dump has been generated (which may help clue you in to what is going wrong).

Second, try repatching one or more times. Some people here say that fixes things. <shrug>

ok uninstalled everything , reinstalled BF2 when trying to install SF it couldn't patch ..... so i just put the latest patch on BF2 and then tryed installing SF ..again couldn't patch... here is my patch log thingy ..i dunno what happened.

ok i tryed reinstalling SF for the 50th time, and what do you know it WORKED!! and the patch worked 1st time so all is almost good,

but now the SF stockm map called "total destruction" (or something like that, the one with the rebles in it) crashes upon loading right at the "geometries" part so if there is a solution out there to fix this it would be much appreciated.

well i hope this helps someone who has had to go through what i have for the pat 10 hours......

and my game also crashes tp desktop whenever it feels like it during a map.. ne ways hopefully there will be some sort of fix coming out of EA soon ... BAHAHHAHAHA

Have you tried deleting the contents of:
..\My Documents\Battlefield 2

Also, when you re-installed, did you do it this way:
