BF2 multiplayer Problems

hey, when ever i join multi player games, my comp freezes right after the maps done laoding and where u choose when to spawn.The game completely freezes and have to restart my comp.

This is a brand new comp with the following specs

6800 gs
amd 3200
1.5 gigs ram

i havnt updated the video card yet but still.....

i even tr'd setting it to the lowest possiblr settings, the same result still appeared.....'



any help
