weird thing after i installed 1.2

I need help!! after i installed the new patch and open BF2 within 2 minutes in a game my game freezes then these weird sounds of screeche's come out of my speakers (they sound like when u dial in with dial up) and then my computer just restarts automatically anyone else having this problem?? i have uninstalled and re-installed bf2 + bf2 SF then new patch 3 times and ima but to:cry:

Any thoughts? maybe some ideas?? i would really love to get back to playing bf2

i still havent installed the patch im afraid to have problems like everyone else I wanna stick to stock OEM dont want new!!! :(
