Didnt know where else to put this.

Not sure if the board is done yet or not, but using firefox I can see the code instead of the images. ie exclamation point.
It also takes forever to reload the pages. Just in case person(s) fixin it up aint aware. ;)

There are no issues with the forum reported.
Just checked things server side and all is well.

It may be the hundreds of users causing traffic in the server? BTW, DP do you know what server TBF2 uses?

You haven't accidently blocked images from totalbf2.com have you?

I have no sites listed under exceptions for block images.
Unless theres an option somewhere else I missed. It only happened after the site was down today.

There's maybe a 0.00001% chance this will fix it, but maybe you could try clearing your browser cache. It could be (I honestly have no clue :p) that the cached forum icons got corrupted, so Firefox is just displaying the text (either html image tooltip or .gif filename) since it can't render the image. <shrug>

Edit: NVM. DrunkenPirate's Shift+Refresh tip is a better, less destructive possible solution. :)

You have a Proxy server or AOL? We just enabled hotlink protection today due to people hotlinking stuff and killing our server.

Fixed it!

For those having problems do the following:

1. Clear cache
2. Clear the cookie for totalbf2.com
3. Close the browser
4. Open it up, and go to www.totalbf2.com (not forums)
5. Once at totalbf2.com click on Forum, log in and you're set

By the sounds of it this is proabley happening due to the server getting slammed yesterday and you got a bunch of blank files in your cache . . .

I am still getting this issue.
If I right click on a missing icon and select view image I get redirected to getpaidtoplaybf2.com.
I assume this is the same reaon the refresh is slower as my browser seems to get stuck during load.-

Even if I C/P the location of the of the icon in my address bar I get sent to getpaidtoplay. "http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/images/editor/quote.gif"

If you clear your cache, it should fix your problem.
