uhm .. hello? amazon.de (the only non-EA source) are atm the only one to ever give a date on BF2EF ... and at least with BF2 and BF2SF they where correct. Im pretty sure it will be on the downloader by tomorrow (or at least friday)

I also believe that Amazon has posted a release date for Duke Nukem Forever and changed it several times over the last three years. Take Amazon release dates with a huge grain of salt.

It's unlikely to be this week. They'll want people to download the patch and let it settle in for a couple of days at least.

The interview about the patch said that Euro Force would be released very soon after the patch. I'd think that means sooner than 2 weeks after the patch.

I would think 1 week after the 1.2 patch. So my guess is next Tuesday.

I am pretty sure that EuroForce is finished and 1.2 was holding it back. I believe the issue is server capacity...EA didnt want to be dealing with 1.2 downloads and EuroForce DLs at the same time.

My bet is this friday for EF, EA often release things on Friday

I hope the maps are the bomb.
I like 1.2 although my kill to death ration is dropping rapidly. Getting killed a lot more now it seems. My kids have even caught me accidently cussing. Had a sniper killing me no matter where the heck I spawned on dragon valley. I was like "where the he** is he" and "damnit, he is pi$$ing me off". It was fun. I wish we could see the reactions in real time of our competitors. Now that would be fun. Off on a tanget here, sorry. Come on Dice give us EF now.

Damn , have to wait another week, was hoping so bad it would be this weekend. Don't have to work and can stay up late playing this. Oh well, Still hope EA changes there mind. Figure it would be better to release on a Friday for sales. The video looks nice, but going fast, and zoomed in and flash this and flash that really can not tell about the maps. But from what I can see the maps look good.

The German site had it before the patch as 02/23/06 or for our friends in Europe 23/02/06.
Now all they have is a 404 error they are probably changing the page.
They will probably let us dnload it a week before release just like they did with SF so they don't run into any bandwith problems.
Then it will let us play on the release date.
