For those of you that used the EA Downloader for SF...how was the experience? Can you actually burn the game to a disc once you download it? What happens if you format your computer, how do you reinstall the game? Does the Dowloader install patches...what is it really good for?

Sorry I have so many questions I just prefer having a hard copy of game and I have had some not so hot experiences with Steam.

It's like Steam.
Once you create the account if you format your hard drive just install the dnloader again and download the files again and you "should" be able to play again.
There are post's that people have made on backing up the files but I have not heard if that works.
I had no problem with the EA Dnloader when I got SF.

I am in the process of building a new rig so I will be trying to reinstall using the dnloader.
I will be asking for help if I run into problems myself.

Will there be any way of getting it without a credit card? :(

In other parts of the world like SE Asia & Europe they say they will sell a box in the store that has a code so you can dnload it.
But I have seen nothing that says you can buy it already on CD or DVD.
They probably don't want to spend the money making them it is only 380mb from what I have seen.
