I've been trying to mess around with this program for a couple of days now. My general way of doing things is editing the video in Premiere, exporting it completely uncompressed, and then compressing it with Virtualdub. My problem is this: the audio comes out supposedly uncompressed, but using some codec I cannot find a decompressor for. Its using a waveform code of 0x0003 also known as IEEE Float Wave Form. Is there anyway I can get the uncompressed audio to use a different codec when I export from Premiere? Or, as an alternative, is there a decompressor out there? I thought I had found two different ones, but GSpot still cannot see those and Virtualdub still cannot decompress the audio when I go to save the AVI and convert the audio stream to Lame mp3. Any help would be appriciated.
