BF Euro I dont think so

EA has really screwed up their money pit this time with this BS patch. With at least a 50 dollar investment in their BF-2 series of games I an not planning on purchasing the Euro download due to EA's shotty support and frequent Coding etc issues with their game.



They want the community to download their new booster pack soon , but what major problems is it going to cause on peoples systems. Will it be playable?

People think about it before you download anything from EA.

Famas is only good for about 50 meters, shoots to quickly for anything else (no single shot option, burst and full auto).

who cares, I have payed 50$ for games I got tired after playiong a week, this is a waste of money, I am not tired of BF2 and have played it since the first day it was out, good investment , I even bought SF and also played it many many hours , and now I will buy euro forces, it's freaking only 10$ , what is 10$

Dude, please. If you don't want to buy it then don't buy it and leave the rest of us alone. If you hate EA, then hate EA - I have no problem with that. I don't hate EA, they are not evil, I have gotten many many hours of serious fun out of this game and they are just trying to make a buck and god bless em. Don't get all wrapped up, if you don't like the way they do business then vote with your feet and take your money elsewhere.

Personally, I'm gonna plunk down my 10 large and if it sucks, oh well then. I mean holy crap, I spent 7 dollars on lunch at taco hell today, and that mess forced its way out of my body in about three hours. I figure if I can play Euro for 5 hours I am ahead of the game.

I'm not too fond of EA's policies, yet, they are "Just trying to make a buck". I mean, that's what they are in it for; profits, not your enjoyment. It just so happens those two come hand-in-hand.

Yet, even I (with all of my disgust) enjoy BF2 more than I hate it. So, I cope. I'm simply not willing to drop the cash on SF because it doesn't give me what I want for that price. Same with Euro Force. Besides, come march.. Ghost Recon, Red Orchestra, Swat 4 Expansion...

BF2 probably won't get touched again for a while. Yet, if all of those titles weren't dropping (Did I mention Oblivion!?) then I would prolly' shell out the 10 dollars. I mean, hell, it's 10 Dollars. I make over 35k a year... I think I can spare 10 dollars.

hell even Single Player 16-Player maps are better than Star Wars Battlefront/Battlefront 2 (which by the way is based off the Battlefield 1942 Engine which in turn is what Battlefield 2 bases off of)

Guys you missed the entire gist of my post. I was bashing the latest patch since I can no longer play this game as it crashes to desktop at 60% load. Wonder what glitches are instore for the booster.


I also love the game and have played daily since it came out. I have no problem purchasing a product that works.

I see his point, although your crashes are probably related to your computer.

Guys, if we buy this for "only" 10 dollars, instantly without questioning the quality of what is already out there, we are sending EA/DICE a message. And that message is, no matter what you release, we will buy.

This will change their mindset, where they will feel people will buy Battlefield related products no matter what quality they truly are, because it's battefield. Judgemental quality.

Look at the 1st patch after Special Forces, which every larger enthusiast of Battlefield 2 purchased. 1.2's changes aside, the patch itself is FULL of bugs. It's clear it wasn't tested completely or properly.

I for one like the idea of a community boycot on Euro Forces until we see a quality revision of 1.2 patch.

No 64 player maps from what I've read, unless that just means that 64 player servers will use 32 player map size, still that's pretty lame.

I loved this game and the bugs/glitches in the new patch have swayed my decision never to buy any EA stuff again once ENEMY TERRITORY:QUAKE WARS Hits the shops this game will be in the BIN:laugh:

As a consumer, you should not have to buy a product only to realize shortly after purchase that you are unhappy with it. If you enjoy throwing your money away, that is great. I too have played BF2 since day 1 and I am really dissatisfied with the direction the game has moved in since then. The last patch was acceptable compared to the amount of bugs and changes introduced by this latest one.
It is not a matter of money rombaft, it is a matter of buying something and not feeling like you got burned. A good company provides constant and good customer service, this has not been the case recently with these patches. I get the feeling people think that EA only wants their money.
I am one that thinks that EA/Dice should provide more support for vanilla BF2. How come with Desert Combat, every patch that was released, they would give you new vehicles and new maps? Many people already pay $8/slot in ranked servers and that alone is a huge money maker for EA/Dice. It feels like a slap in the face to have to keep paying for less than acceptable customer service and support.
Lets go Quake Wars!!!!
