Video creation questions

Hey, I realy want to make a sniper movie but I dont know how to do it. If you guys could be nice and tell me how to get rid of the hud, how to use a video capturing program, and how to compress the size of the file, that would be great! Thanks in advance.

Get rid of the HUD:
Open the console (~) and type "renderer.drawhud 0". Change the 0 to a 1 to turn it back on.

Video Capturing Program:
The most popular one is Fraps (http://www.fraps.com/).

Compress the size of the file:
A really popular one is DivX (http://www.divx.com/).

Also head over to www.battlelauncher.com and pick up the latest version of BattleLauncher, which will help you manage your .demo and .cam files, allow you to change profiles and resolution dynamically and generally just simplify the whole BattleRecorder process.

To edit and compress the movie, you could use Windows Movie Maker which is free and outputs in WMV which works well for streaming on sites like Putfile.com

When in-game and after being killed, hit the 'c' key to toggle between all the players on your team. You will be in a chase view, similar to that of BattleRecorder.
