When I blocked the html string ad. in my Norton Internet Security I couldnt see the headlines on every thread, so I couldnt open a thread or post or anything!
It took me over an hour to figure out why and I tried removing the string ad. from the blocked list just to test and it worked.

But my question is: Why does the headlines on the threads lie on the string ad. ?

And also I use Firefox and I use the advanced post editor' not the WYNIOGT (or whatever its called...) And now i cant click at options in the editor, not the smileys, not the Bold, Italic or any button so now I have to write every BBcode from my head. As far as I know, it was the WYNIOGT editor that wasn't usable with Firefox.

And the question is: Why doesn't it work any longer with Firefox using the advanced post editor when it worked just some days ago?

It is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) and it still works for me. I know FireFox 1.5+ has been haveing alot of problems with it and a few other things I have come across. You may also want to check recent Plugins/Updates you installed.

As for the string "ad" it appears in "headline" for example which will be your problem, it will block anything that has ad in it.

Same here. I have always used firefox and never had any problems. The closest thing you could consider to be a problem is when it takes a while to load up the site and manuever into the forums, which is most likely caused by traffic of the sum 600+ people that are here daily. So on such a big site that should be expected.
