Connection to server lost a lot since 1.21

1st post, new member, just wanted to see if anyone else is having unusual amount of connections to servers dropped since the new patch, or is it just me :nerr:

I've always had this problem. It takes ages to load maps at the 'client verifying' stage and then I get an ungody number of dropped connections.

That's why i prefer servers that are 24/7 one map.

my friend is getting disconnected about every 5 minutes after playing.. we tried MANY things, and can only relate it to the 1.21 patch..

HOWEVER if we play on a server that has over 300+ms latency.. no problem..
like that's any fun though... It's unfortunate that we are using this version at the LAN.. as it's currently sucking, and he is unable to play.

A local server (xtra.co.nz) has a bug which lets you play for about 45 minutes then shuts down and reboots itself, and any points that you had earned are lost. I've lost close to 500 points this way. And it's only started to happen since the 1.21 patch.
