BF2 patch 2.1 Help!

i have installed the full patch of BF2 v 2.1 and i can not get the game to update it to that version. it is still saying that i am at version 1.12. i have also tried to install the increment patch and still no luck. i have even tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and the patches together not 2 but 3 times and i cant get them to work. anyone else haveing problems with this other then me? i know how to work computers and dload programs but this patch is making me feel stupid lol.. pls help me :)

Where does it say you're still v1.12?

it says in the top right corner when i enter battlefield 2. it also keeps telling me that i need to update it to v 2.1 when i enter the game.

Um you mean when you connect to your account theres a pop-up telling you you can download v1.21 with a picture of a jet on it? Also, try joining an internet server and see what it does.

10-4 that is what it shows when i get connected. its also no good. i try to join a v2.1 server and it tells me i need the newest version in order to play on this server...

lol that pop-up everyone gets. Those are EA announcements. That still shows even if you download the 1.21 patch. Do all server give you the same issue?

not sure about all the servers giving me probs. but the servers i try to join with the clan i am in i cant join cause it says i dont have the right version.

Just to be sure you got the right patch (since you keep calling it 2.1 which does not exist) download this one right HERE (http://www.filecloud.com/files/file.php?user_file_id=123846)and install it. See what happens.
