I was looking around on eBay today and I saw a brand new X1600 for 150 bucks...my AGP system is still hanging in there and I'm not ready to do a full upgrade just yet.
Is it worth it to get this?

my x1600pro 256 mb PCIe card is very good. i run everything maxed out, 1024x768 at 50-55 fps. 512mb should be even better...
other system components:
AMD athlon 64 3200+
2x512 dual channel ram
7200 rpm 200 gb maxtor diamondmax

the 512mb doesnt make a diffrence becuase the card only has a 128bit memory bus. but it still runs bf2 really good. good midrange card that overclocks pretty well.

Yea I bet.
You have a 6800GT now @ OP right? you would be better off with that untill you upgrade to PCIE down the road.
