3DSMAx & BF2

Can anyone help me i cant import any objects in 3DSMax from BF2.
I cant even use the tutorials as it wont import anything..
I have installed BF2 exporter tools and have the BF2 toolbar but that doesnt help much.

Does anyone know how this is done..ive been trying for ages and just gave up so ive posted here.:confused:

You cant import with the provided tools, this is an intended effect.
