Is it just me or has have the number of EF servers declined significantly? I never got it but I had considered it if it had more lasting power than SF. It seems Ive made the right decision or am I just not seeing it for some reason? :confused:

There are 448 EF servers worldwide at the moment and 466 SF servers.

I have no idea how many there were when the mod first came out to compare with the figure for today.

Dont forget EF can be mixed with BF2 so as it becomes more popular more EF only servers will close as it will be combined with the BF2 servers, maybe thats why there maybe a reduction in EF only servers. :)

It seems to me like there is less, but i could be wrong. Some SF servers I play on switched to EF and are back on SF now. So at least a few have dropped it :p.

As I have said they may not have dropped it but may have combined it with there BF2 servers, EF was ment and does add to BF2 vinilla unlike SF which was ment to run own it's own servers.

The reason I ask is because I dont have it all the servers that use its maps show up in red text. When it first came out it seemed like at least 1 in 4 was one of those servers, now I have to scroll to even see one. Maybe theyre just dropping in my area (PST).

Ehm yes, thats rather obvious. I am judging by when I search for actual euro forces maps or when i look through my favourites, some have taken euro forces off the rotation, some arent 24/7 anymore and others are back to SF.

um... there were 120 SF ones when i checked just after EF came out, and more than half were ghost town sniper fests, other half being iron gator and warlord.

the non ghost town claymore infested sniper hole SF is dead im afraid.
