Is it possible to make four-legged walkers in the BF2 Engine? I know bipedal are (almost, First strike is trying) impossible, but are quadrapeds any easier?

well if the new BF2142 or what ever it is has walkers in any shape or form it must be possible as in theory it is a mod of this game already.

Proper walkers are not possible in the BF2 version of the engine, much the same way that undergrowth was not possible in the BF1942 version of the game but was in the BFV incarnation of the engine. BF2142 is not just a mod, it is an extention of the engines source code.

i think the sooner people realize this the better... the question is - how hard will it be to convert models over from bf2 to bf2142...

I dont think it will be that hard, pretty much the same as BF1942 was to BFV, some models will just go straight over as I cant see them writing new shader and mesh code for the new game, just extending whats already there to either allow a new type of animated bundlemesh that actually has a collision mesh or one would hope a fully supported multi skeleton environment.
