Is there a ribbon avalibale for the EF team? Does anyone have it already ? Because according to bf2player.com it says i have 19 hours left to get it. Can anyone shead some light on this, if that site is correct?

You need 50 hours in theatre to get the ribbon.

Here is a link showing 2 awards for Euro Forces, the European Union Special Service Ribbon & Medal. It doesn't say how to obtain them.

Apparently, however I've managed the 50+ hours and didn't receive the ribbon. It's probably bugged, or there's an extra requirement.

All of the posts say 50 hours in the EU Theater...not in the EU army.

In Theater means you must have a total of 50hrs on the Euro Force Maps total.

But like the SF ribbons it has some other component they have not told us maybe a min round score or no team or vechicle damage. Until EA/Dice tells us we will never be 100% sure.

Yes, I can read very well. The ribbon requirement states "50 hours in theatre", ie one needs to play 50 hours on Euro Force maps, rather than 50 hours EU army. However, if one wishes to collect the EU medal, then one needs to acquire 250 hours in the EU Army.
The thread starter asked about the ribbon.

if yous all realy want to see euro weapons in action against the USA why dont yous make one where turkey vs's USA. turkeys weapons are mostly european based not russian

For the Euro force medal you need:

Play 250 hours as European Union
Wins 500 as EU
100 best round EU


For the ribbon
50 hours in theater
Play all maps at least once

Well since this is an EU SERVICE ribbon I would guess that service does not include fighting at China side and killing EU soldiers :confused:
Besides that, 30 hours plus the 19 you supposedly have left would make 49 hours in EU wouldnt it? :D

yes u could still recieve the ribbon while playing on the china team. just as long as u played EF and on EF maps. its still considered in the theater.

In theatre is on either army while playing a map involving the EU. In theatre for SAS is playing as SAS or Spetsnaz on ghost town, or SAS or Insurgent on the other maps.

People have the requirements for the ribbon, but they still haven't gotten it. So the requirements must be different.

Ok...then why is it that i have the ribbon for SAS cause i play ghost town all the time. So thats means that i should also have the ribbon for spetz? i think thats wrong. Cause i can go to a ghost town, and play only SAS and then go back later and look at my stats and my spetz time has not changed.

Listen, if u play ghost town 10 hours as SAS, u get 10 hours theater for spetz and SAs, but your army time is only with the SAS, 10 hours.

Just to add Importskyline22 you still need 2 hours and 21 minutes time in theatre on Russian Spetz for the ribbon.

BF2Player used to have this ribbon listed when you look at your stats, but as of this week its no longer there. The medal is still there, but not the ribbon.

I don'tplay EF but I know how it went with the SF ribbons, many people had the requirements but nowbody got the ribbons, then on some day, everybody started to gt the ribbons (at least the ones having the requirements) , they just haven't enabled it (yet) those ribbons aren't client or server sided, it's purely on the stats servers and there settings, meaning EA can do what they want with them, so on some day, they will enable them , why it isn't enabled at this moment yet, I don't know, I don't even know if EA knows why

I saw some ppl with 25-30hours have some SF service ribbons, so the 50 hours is wrong... I think you have to make play about 25 hours and score more than 100points in every map...

That cannot be right, the awards file clearly states 50h on that army map. So you could have never seen anyone having the ribbon with less than 50h. If he "has" the ribbon with less than that, then its the stats page/database that is corrupted.

I saw a lot a of ppl to have service ribbons (not EF) with less than 30 hours and I dont think it is not correct... I will ask Yeti_hunter about that.
