Anti Tank Tips

ok im trying to get my vet anti tank. and i can blow up amybe one tank but it takes 5 shots. anyone got any SS on where to hit the tank or tips or something. i need 15 kills for vet i know i can just go around killin infrantry but this seems to be a pain in the ***. ant tips i play euro so where whould i hit that challanger?

Hit the treds and back. Two shot kill guaranteed.

Did you shoot him in the treds? Front on or from behind in the treds is preferable. It is possible he was engineer or there was a supply crate there.

i shot him directly in the treads i found seacrts of battleifled site. an read up on it wnet in a game an shot the. tank in the treads 5 times an he blew my *** off. i guess he was an enginerr it dont help the team im on right now blows anyway were gettin raped badly

well that 2 shot in the tred deal does work on the t-90. but on the challanger im havin hell with that one. thanks for the fast replay bro best wishes in ya next game

Front/Back of the treads is where you want to aim, and it takes 2 hits to kill (unless your target is getting repaired). There IS a one-hit-kill zone on the tank, but it's so rare to get the rocket to fly into it that you might as well just forget it exists and go for the treads.

Don't forget that your rocket can be used to kill proned infantry (since they don't move, they are very easy to hit) and the DAO-12 dominates in CQC-heavy maps like Strike at Karkand.

You need another AT soldier running along with you to be really effective against an experienced tank/engineer combo. If tankers are working together repairing each other, and have supply drops in close proximity it is almost impossible to counter them as a single AT soldier. They repair so fast that you better have a lot of coverage. A good tactic is also to follow your own tanks, and help them out against the enemy tanks. Very rewarding, because they will totally focus on the tank leaving you alone most of the time so you can take well aimed shots at their threads, and turret.

There's a one-hit kill with a rocket? I thought that was only with another tank shell

well i finily got the badge at karkand killing. infrantry with the shotgun and killed some tanks an apcs. then went to same server to get vet medic name of game 24/7 karkand no whoring. spaned 2 apcs at gas station killin spawners. hope in an apc go to work killin them got 15 kills an got banned for using the apc. said i was whorin

That's what I like to call the "cheap" way.
I still don't understand why you can get ground troop badges and medals when doing duty in a jet, tanks, or even as hiding commander...
Big flaw in the game imo.
But, whatever floats your boat, and if you are proud of the medals that you can get by cycling kits in an aeroplane, then go ahead ;)
I personally will continue pounding the ground, and earn my medals the hard and right way.

I got my badges, and medals without any whoring so far, and so can you. I am not a very good player just average. No need for you to jump in planes or tanks for you badges. If I could do it witgh my boots getting dirty then you can also do it easily.

The front or back of the treds is were to hit a tank.

Though for Veteran Anti-Tank you can just hop into a tank or plane and make some good kills, I got it today in a tank on Karkand.

Though the round before I had 23 kills by just using my AT as a sniper and my DAO as close combat weapon.

i pound the ground alot i hardly ever use APCs or helos. im not good with helos or planes. i mgiht use a tank here an there but i my self try to pound the ground. people will kill me with a tank an apc or run me over an they laugh an say owned or something like that. i tell them to get there *** out in the feild an they never respond .
