Problem, need help.

Hey everyone, I have a problem where what happens is is when i get into BF2 and join a server, it comes up to the place to pick your weapons as usual. But for some reason I cant move my mouse. The game doesnt freeze or anything, things are still going on in the background. This only started happening yesterday. I have had patch 1.22 installed for awhile, with no problmes until now. Could the problem be realated to the falty patch? How should i go about solving this problem?

try resetting your controls to default I THINK that was how to fix it back in the old patches.;
