Would havin outdated USB controller drivers have any effect?

I cant play bf2 since 1.21 patch due to strange stuttering so I have updated nearly all my drivers to c if i can fix it, I came across that I need new USB controller drivers but I dont no wat they r and if they might help my prob.

Try clearing your dmp file and you logo cache in "MY DOCUMENTS".
Assuming you are now using 1.22 right??
USB drivers have very little to no effect on overall performance of a system unless they are not functioning properly. Windows 99% of the time has the correct drivers and in the case which they dont go to you motherboard manufactures web site and download the newest chipset drivers.
