Anyone managed to get multiplayer working??

i cannot get multiplayer to work. it hangs and goes to desktop.
i have new 1.22 patch installed and have disabled all firewalls and virus software.

has anyone managed to play this friggin game without any problems.

single player is fine, just this multiplayer. I have deleted all cache files as told before but still nothing works. i can see all servers, and wheni click join it does as i mention.

Have you tried completely uninstalling then reinstalling BF2 yet?
Do you have SF expansion or EF booster?
When exactly does the game go CTD?

Also, what are your system specs, and how do you connect to WAN?

Also having the same problem, using latest ATI drivers. I can play single player with no problem, but when i join a multiplayer game, it hangs 2mins into it. Already uninstall and reinstall twice....
