I'm not sure if this was posted already..but screw it. Some guy built a model of an F-14...at first it was just a model but after putting in the work they got it working. Check it out..it's pretty wild.

I want one too.

But I think It's really not for a newbee. Did you see how much power this plane seem to have for his weight. Look when the pilot taxiing the aircraft on ground, he always step on break, and the aircraft reaccelerate so fast.

I am sure I will crash this plane or run outside the remote control range in the first 2 minutes after take-off.

But what a jet........

That's definitley not for the novice. I've built about 20 RC planes .....never a jet though. Lots of time needed to learn to fly them.....but what a blast when you get the hang of it.

That plane at full throttle probably moves at nearly 130~ mph.

Sh** hot, a pitty about the sweep not working, but i guess there would be serious control issues.

The guy i get my models from here in Oz, has the speed record (in Aus, I think) of 200MPH no BS!!
Geez how much would one of them set ya back??

I went to this air RC show, and this person had a boeing 747 similar size, maybe a bit bigger than this f14 model, the 747 had 4 identical miniature turbines, and it sounded like a real jet, and when the guy took the 747 of the runway the jet looked real in distance, crashing something like this accidentally must be heartbreaking, $5000 atleast.
