Problems with Voip...

Ive ran the Voip setup and everything works fine. Threashold is good - all in the green. Ive double checked the DX settings and acceleration is set to basic. The mic works on Cool edit pro... its recording right. Its obviously plugged into the right jack on the back of the computer.

I fire up the game and go to audio options and do the voip test there... and I get nothing. Nothing at all under any circumstances.

I can go right back out to the voip setup in the EA games folder and fire it up and it works like a charm... but ingame I get zilch.

Anyone have any problems like this and what did you do to fix it?

The soundcard is an old soundblaster Live! 5.1

the in game test one is screwed for me too, but when im actually talking in game people can hear me. Shout at the mic FIRST then activate the test while shouting, see what happens sound should come on for 2 secs then not work again.
