Hey guys,

Ive got a Logitech USB headset and I cant get VOIP to work completely.
First of all, ive searched the forumn and tried the suggested fixes with no success. I also have a Realtek AC97 sound board on my computer. What I do is, use the AC97 when I want to route sounds to my Stereo Reciever, and use the USB when appropriate (the wife is sleeping).... heh. Anyways hree are the symptoms:

I have VOIP enabled, and when i do the mic threshold test nothing gets picked up (the indicator doesnt move). I can hear people talking in game, and when i press push to talk the speaker does show up (but no sound gets transmitted no1 can hear me). The mic works in other apps like team speak and sound recorder. Ive turned hardware acceleration to basic, and checked the muting issue (but of course it isnt muted Teamspeak works while ingame). Strangely the boost mic gain option box will not activate when i click it. Also of course i have the usb headset selected as the default audio device in control panel and have "use default only" also checked.

VOIP works perfectly when I have the AC97 activated and use a mic with it, but i prefer to use the headset for mic usage since it is a much cleaner signal.

Any one have any experience with a similar 2 sound card setup?
Any pointers i may have misssed?

Thanks a great deal
