Well first of all I get 15-20 (about 70 being highest while looking into the sky) fps with latency of about 60-100 with all vid settings on lowest. My comps specs are.

AMD64 3400+ 2.2mhz
1gb ram
nVidia FX5200 128mb x8

I think

I'm on my other comp as my bro plays CS:S on that comp becuase its my "Gaming comp." and CS gets 40-60fps.

I'm guessing its the video card that I need to change? And I have read that there will be an fps fix in the next patch or something like that. Will that improve my performance dramatically?

By looking at my stats I'm not that bad of a player. I'm getting into more lonewolf playing and with the incresing CQ conflicts I need to not lag since I need to turn very quickly.

Is there anything else I could do to improve performance?

Edit: My dad bought a new vid card http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-VisionTek_XTASY_RADEON_X1300_512MB_PCIE but I don't think he will install it unless its really necessary. Is there a way to fry my current vid card :) You know like... I think I know what overclocking is.. So could I.... overclock it with fans on low and run BF2 on high and let it sit for a while?
