There is a new update posted today over at the Desert Conflict (http://www.desert-conflict.org/) mod website. They have two new videos to showcase previewing their MLRS. Take a look:

Here is an Ingame Testing vid and a vid in editor showing in detail the firing mechanism as you'll see the missiles actually fire from the launchers, there not just appearing at the end of a barrel like bf2's cobras z10s havoks need i go on?

Looks good. The missiles seem drop too fast, almost like from a grenade launcher, I guess it's still WIP..

Yeah, like doublevee said the missles drop too fast and theirs no exhaust details. Other than that - it's cool to see you guys making some strides!

wow, can't wait 'till the missiles get a huge flame out the back, a nice "swusch!" sound and a large explosion :P

Gonna be soo sweet at long range =)

when i saw the missiles fire off the MLRS i fought they was guna shoot of but they dint, they just dropped lol

This was just a chance to show the community some work as its done. There will be plenty of smoke, plenty of distance, as well as all the obvious concerns. It will sound meaner than a pubber bitching about dolphin diving, but with less puberty crackle in it.

This is a look into the development of something, which is new to many of the viewers here, and even some DEVs, lol.

Lets be honest.
We are busting out the Platinum level Sh$T, more stuff than we could fit into the update section of totalbf2, and were not taking prisoners.:cool:

That's a pretty weak trajectory on the MLRS. Hope they beef it up a LOT more.

This mod looks like its coming along pretty well .

Not my favorite mod out there and will probably release after all the good ones have stolen the thunder . We will see though , I will d/l for sure and play .

LOL can't wait! the model and skin look great! and i dont think theres a problem with the speed, its looks just as fast/slow as the one in DC when it was at top speed.

Stuff was faster in DC then bf2 remember!

yeah the missiles aint finished obviously. its arty not a big uber noob toob LOL

its just to show they havegot it in game and shooting.

sorry UH60 - but you really have absolutely no idea on how much progress DCON has made over the last couple of months, I have to say i am thoroughly impressed - dont use total bf2 as a guage for progress. unlike some other mods, DCON has an official website and most of the updates (only 20% of which really make it here) are posted there.

so, "yup", you are way off with the "making strides" remark :D because the pace hasnt changed.
