The Choppers...

I've noticed that atleast 3 new hellicopters will be added to this. But the thing that I'm wondering about is this:

They are all mentioned as reconnaissance choppers. Look at this picture:

Looks like some sort of lasertargeting device on the side of the chopper.
I haven't read anything about this, but I'm suspicious as to the purpose of this. Is this gonna be like the old BF1942 thing, where you spot for arty, or perhaps for the bombers?

PS! What happened to the Harrier? Have they removed it? Havn't seen any pics of it. Used to be a picture of here on TOTAL BF2 (Under armoured fury/vehicles.)

My guess is it's gonna be like the UAV except this one is highly mobile. Great for designating targets.

The chinese chopper has that too.

Hmm, that would be cool if it worked as a uav, whatever you flew over it automatically shows up on the minimap for at least 2 or 3 seconds.

spose both UaV AND THE NEW CHOPPER WOULD USE SOME SORTOF

iNFA RED TO LOCK ON TO HEAT SIGNATURES OR ARE THEY JUST HIGH POWERD CAMERAS

BUT THEN AS THEY CAN SPOT BODS DEEP INSIDE BUILDING WOULD HAVE TO BE A MIXTURE OF BOTH ???
