I think the MODS will do better then Armoured Fury, the A-10 has already seen the skies in USI, something many are going to buy AF for..

I read it as we will be playing it June, yes. There isn't much of May left so if they release it on the 30th which is a Wednesday (Everywhere), their releases/patches come out, usually , they release what? 3PM PST? That's 6PM EST giving you a few hours left of May, so why not say You'll be playing it in June, hell you could say you'll be playing it any month, because you are.

EA/DICE's damned if they release it with bugs but if they hold off a bit they are damned because people are sick of waiting, very Catch 22'ish. Can't Win either way.

I just dont understand how long it can take them to make 3 maps ( 2 of which will probably be completely recycled terrain, skies and buildings, 5 flag basic zig zag layout) 6 vehicles, jets shouldnt be a problem, as they should handle the same as the others. Helicopters taking alittle longer and oh yeah THATS IT. Jesus christ it was meant to come out in march.

Oh well.

I would say 'well I would rather wait and have it be better' but seeing as its EA, we will end up just waiting to buy a lump of lizard turd that we will never play ever again.

My god people. Just shut up. I was looking forword to it as well. So what if its delayed thats a big IF. Then its delayed, life goes on. Maybe that will give you people time to get off your *** and get some sun instead of making your life depend on patches and boosters. OH WELL!!! if its delayed its delayed.

And im still deffly gonna buy it, its only 10 bucks, i mean come on. And if they release 20 other boosters i will buy all of them. Its not that big of a deal people.

The irony is that AF was originally delayed because of bugs they found in the 1.2 patch. Since they were going to release EF right after the patch they didn't want to release AF right on the heels of EF, so they put it off about a month. Now it's getting pushed back again, probably due to more bugs in the latest patch.

Soz but EA took it out, remember it is a british vehicle and AF is based in USA, so they might use it in another booster pack- if they make another one, with the UK army in, if they do they should call it Brit wars or something,

I thought this was it for BF2. No more booster packs and no more updates/fixes since DICE is moving on to BF2142.

Anyone know different?

No one should be surprised if this is true, but it could also easily be mis-communication between dept's at EA, or a typo.

Anyway, all I want is patch 1.3, not sure if I will spend money on another booster that is popular for all of three weeks.

Well they arent doing as bad as they have been doing with EF and some SF maps.

Sure some new buildings, but that tent is in smoke screen, same objects, same skips full of waste as in the middle east.

It just sucks because its the same old maps just looking slightly different, they need to create new scenarios with those maps. Not really about what they look like ( it is at the start) but then its all about how they play.

And if its identicle layout to other maps we are getting the same old stuff so why even bother.

Im very much looking foward to it and at all am not displeased with the delay. Patch 1.3 is going to be the mother of all patchs. To things can happen, it could be a great patch that makes BF2 even greater then before or, it is the Mother of all Bugs. Now if it is the mother of all bugs there going to have to fix it for AF, and I would rather let them fix it up, etc and release it clean then be playing some buggy expansion where my plane crashes into an invisible wall. Although AF has been delayed I don't belive 1.3 will be, im expecting it some time next week.

I dont think any amount of testing by EA except for basic testing will amount to the same testing it will get on joe public smacktards pc.. just wait.. there will be new exploits, bugs, etc but At least we will be playing it and point them out much faster than any EA testing will...

I speak from experience.. as a mod dev.. your dev team wont find nor does your beta testers find ALL associated patch bugs.. its amazing what slips through.

SO EA PUT IT OUT ALREADY .... LET the online BETA BEGIN!

then you can make one small patch before 2142 and we all wont care by then anyway.

The United States Marines use the Harrier.

Who cares what flag or who built that plane that is dropping a bomb on you in a game. being blown up USA style or Euro style? It's all the same.

The 2142 is probably sucking the life out of the AF. In the meantime modders are releasing successful games that include the planes such as the A-10.

i have seen them testing af and the new co-op mode already on bf2 just take off all your filters and type in one of the af maps and u will see unless they take/took them offline....

The OP was saying something in regards to June based off the EA newsletter...I was simply showing that even those aren't accurate.
