There is a new update posted today over at the Forgotten Hope 2 (http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.php?flash=no&lang=english&module=) mod website. They are back with some new media to show. Here's what they had to say:
Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. Time to show off some progress made at the development of Forgotten Hope 2. And furthermore, we have additional news for you on the latest Fan Mappack. But let's first start with the FH2 goodies...
Last week we already introduced the 20 mm Flugabwehrkanone 38. The wait for getting it ingame was relatively short this time around. So today we are proud to present the first ingame shots of the most common, light anti-aircraft gun of the German armed forces. The Flak 38 was modelled and skinned by jodonnell.

Our last Forgotten Hope 2 images for this update, are showing a trench. As we promised a few weeks ago, more emplacements were to come. And today we have an Italian, fortified trench for you. This should be very welcomed by all infantry men as it provides cover which often seems to be missing in the vast, barren desert. The trench was created by Lobo and the wall texture is made by Hush from the BF1936 modification.

As always, nice to see a new update from these guys. Be sure to swing by their site (http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.php?flash=no&lang=english&module=) to read the entire update.

omg - this 1st post 2nd post BS certainly does seperate the men from the boys  Why bother doing it guys? it is totally irrelevant and innappropriate (and that also goes for anyone who was 'joking').
Love the flakgun - and that trench is friggin marvelous (well done lobo ;) )
As soon as this mod is finished we will get a release date - no sooner, no later.
patience is a virtue ;)
whats that in the background of the flakgun piccie? :D

The update is awesome, the trench looks really good, I really like the foot prints in the ground.
What is behind the Flak appears to be an Italian Assault-Gun.

Nice job guys. The flak looks great. Even though it looks alot better in FH2 I'll probably still suck just as much trying to shoot down planes with it as I do in FH1.
P.S. Where's that door in the trench lead to? Also exactly what IS in the background of the first picture? :D

The door is probably the entrance to a shelter in the trench, just like it is in FH1...
The background vehicle seems like an Italian Assault-Gun. (Semovente L40)

I think the internet is going to crash when they release due to 3 million people trying to get this as fast as they can. You know like all the crazy people who rush the stores at christmas to get their kids the latest crappy toy.
And then the internet will be broken:(

FH2 parts are looking nice as always.
The Map Pack is finally releasing! Glad to see that WOLF will finally be running some new maps, they get a little tiresome after a while playing the same ones over and over.

Actually I'd imagine it to be a bit easier, as there seems to be better hit prediction in BF2. So no more having to lead by a mile.

Well it would help alot if AA had an area of effect instead of it consisting of a direct hit as it currently is.
