Intermitent sounds

I just installed Pinnacle Studio 500-USB (video capture software) and some of my sounds in BF2 are working and some are not. When the game is launching, I no longer get startup sounds like EA's "Challenge Everything" or any sounds until I get into a game and then only about half the sounds, No gunfire, or speech from the game and alot of other sounds .

I went back and unistalled the above program but still the sounds are not working properly,any ideas on what to check or will I have to do a fresh install?
