Rising Conflicts Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Rising Conflicts (http://www.risingconflicts.com/) mod website. They are launching a new set of interviews to come. Here's what they had to say:

Today we're kicking off the first in a series of interviews with various staff members at Salty Dogs Productions. We'll be bringing you one interview a week for the next several weeks, and we're also spicing it up with some unreleased screen shots. Keep in mind though, these screen shots are going to be pretty raw, and the objects will change and be improved upon, but we wanted to give you guys an idea of how things are looking so far.

What makes RC different from other mods: The fun, yet real factor, added visual effects and also core changes, eg. how the game plays out, conquest isn't conquest anymore, it should be called onslaught, also tactics are needed and teamwork is rewarded greatly.

There is with myself and most of the players I know and XFire with. Of course, running from pub to pub solo, theres not a whole lot of teamwork, but why would there be? It doesnt often happen in real life, let alone in a virtual world.:cool:

Looks like a great MOD in the making, cant wait to try it out.

I'm glad to start seeing more updates from SDP. Hopefully these updates will lead to a release date soon... As for the teamwork aspect, my experiences of playing DCX lead me to believe that Rising Conflicts will have a larger than normal amount people that actually want to use teamwork.

That Cobra skin is awesome, but the sniper rifle looks mediocre - the texture work is a bit bland and the various differently coloured pieces don't mesh well with each other. That may be how the gun actually looks, but it certainly doesn't do the texture or the model any favours.
