Morning. Uncle xXMMMSXx has done it again.

I've just used a link I got from a friend and used it to (As I did for the Euro Forces booster) skip through and get to the payment page for Armoured Fury. I used my existing BTclickandbuy account to get it and it all works hunky dorey.

I switch my EA Downloader on to find the AF booster pack sat there all cosy and waiting for me. The only thing is that it's awaiting release with a big counter at the top ticking down.

The timer ends at about 8:30pm on thursday the 25th of may!!!

so we could see tha patch later today sometime or very soon if this is to be believed.

Reinstall downloader. Some people had trouble like that before. Also there was a discrepancy with sign in names etc. Look through the EF thread I linke to for all the answers. I just finished the nightshift and want to go to bed now I've done my good deed for the day.

In the EA downloader click File > Exit and then reload the EA downloader. Then it should show up.

Worked for me at least. Now I just have to wait until Thursday. :D At least it will keep me from checking all the forums to see if there is any news on the release.

Well, I know it works, so just be patient and someone will have an answer for you sooner or later. For now as long as you were charged for it you should be good to go, and if not then at least you have the record of payment, which means you already bought it so you should be cool.

Only thing is.. its strange using the alternate route works with same credit card I have on my EA account for EA downloader.. but the Buy now option doesnt work for me.. I get the same garlbed page message after confirming purchase as is everyone else.

I don't understand why they won't let people pre-load now, the links dead even after following the steps (common sense :) ) but if they did I bet their servers wouldn't have so many problems upon release, Steam does why not them... it does after all have a count down.

To be honest, I think that EA always releases a few copies of a booster pack early. Why? There are a couple of reasons...
1. To test the game. I guess you could consider the people who got it early as beta testers. EA knows that if they have any problems, they'll post them on a site like this. It just makes it easier for them to see if there are any major problems with the game before it is released to everyone.
2. It hypes people up. When someone starts posting links to videos of the game, it makes you want it more because you can't have it yet.
