Bf2 keeps crashing

I've had this problem ever since installing patch 1.3 (full install)
basically, what happens is that every time i try to join a server, everything loads, but then i go to click "JOIN GAME" and i'm kicked to my desktop.

the thing is, this doesnt happen only once, it happens 3-4 times and its relle starting to annoy me. Also, i tried to join a server, and it kicked me saying that "this server does not allow players with modified content. please revert back to your original BF2 game etc."

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thnx in advance.

A couple of things.

1. Use the search button, there are many other people that have posted this.

2. Wrong forum (should be in BF2 Support)

3. Please view the BF2 Crashing Thread (http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75427) for a possible fix to this problem.

I'm thinking of downgrading to 1.22. Are there still servers that run 1.22? Would hate to go though all the trouble and find out there are none.

Same Here I get it most of the time, So the times I really want to play I let the game join by itself so i dont have to click JOIN GAME.

i have the same problem its annoying,and no ther is only about 4 1.22 servers, i wish there was more,everything wads fine b4 1.3

So... if you let it join you by itself, it doesn't CTD?

No, the auto ready box is for after you die, instead of kicking you back to the kit/respawn screen, it will automatically spawn you at your last selected spot with last selected kit.
