Login problem

I have Battlefield 2 and special forces installed and patch 1.3 and now it takes ages for me to login on a server.Loading the map is going fast enough, but to login I have to wait 5-8 minutes.When I just bought the game it was aprox. 20 sec.
I have searched this forum and I have removed the servers from my favorite list, but this didn't work.
Can anyone help?

My Documents>Battlefield2>mods>bf2>cache

and delete everything in the cache folder.....it should help

also delete your server favorites in your general.con folder

Thanks for the help, but after deleting everything in the cache folder and the server favorites it still is slow.I also have major lag after installing 1.3.
Anyone with another solution?
