View Full Version : inadequate OS privileges!?!

Okay, so now almost everyone of u know what this is...it is some crappy PB restriction if ur not the admin right? well, u see, I AM the admin of my computer, but somehow PB still says this message. I played BF2 yesterday and everything worked fine, but today, this message showed up and i got kicked. I tried everything, updated PB, checked my user account privileges. Oh btw, last night, i think i got a virus, might that be the problem??

sry if this is in the wrong section, but it is every urgent

reformat and reinstall everything before your PC explodes ;)

Sorry man it's might be a virus go to short-media.com forums and scroll down to the SVT forums to get it fixed so you don't have to reformat your pc. You have Norton or McAfee Antivirus right anything else is not going to cut it. You pay for what you want to protect when it comes to antivirus. You don't pay you don't get protection.

uninstall PB, & then reinstall a fresh version.

Avast! and AVG are just as good and anything you pay for, and much less bloated as well.

hi there....got same problem here but solved it...

first tried updating PB but didnt change anything, so i thought about the sentence ...."...OS priviledges" sounds like operating system...got vista since last week and allways u need to be administrator...so i sztarted the game via RIGHT CLICK on ICON->> RUN VIA ADMINISTRATOR...now it works
