OMG that is funny, What is up with the wobbling FAV. That is what should happen whenever vehicles are dropped on runways. But I could see them shooting off directly into the aircraft in the hanger.

Its becuase the commander dropped the vehicle drop too soon after the ammo crate.. the meshes collided seding the vehicle physics into play along the with parachute causing it to flip about like that.

The same effect hapens throughout BF.. in SF on Warlord at the British spawn the parachute main spawn.. when you spawn and open your chute too fast and another player spawns above you and opens his chute imedatley too.. they both collide and the result is ultimately a TK and both die.

Eeesh....the GAU in this A-10 is pretty useless..

At least having more smoke and better effects would be nice, to at least make you "feel" like you were doing any damage.

I am going to troll the forums speeking the truth about AF's A-10 till the non believers join me:laugh: . nice for the skin and the new maps and the littlebird, but the point of the a-10 has been nullified(the gun)

seen the video and talked with the people that have it already. this is not a post of how it FLYS i have no idea on that front...but its armament is greatly nerfed

I was thinking the same thing. It's either highly inaccurate (judging by the spread of the bullets), or not powerful enough. It is hard to say unless you do it yourself though.

Since I have AF (and since its my video) I guess I'll clear up some speulation..

- I parked a tank infront of a a10 and jumped in and started shooting the tank, It took about 13 seconds to destroy a tank. Witch would mean 2/3 good strafing runs would take out a tank. The bombs will finish your dirty work. And if you are complaining about the a10s guns being weak think about it, if they where anywhere neat realistic... Everyone would be continuously crying about how over powered and unbalanced it is witch would more then likly lead to them being nerfed anyways.

- The jets are equipped with 4 bombs, Witch may be droped two at a time or all four at once (click twice), There are NO air to air missles witch means true dog fighting. Dont go crying saying that is stupid, its not hard to shoot down another jet if you sneak up behind them it takes seconds to gun them down. (same with helis - easy kills)

Sure the jet is not like it is in real life, but its a game. I think they did fine balancing it out with its tank killing abilities, Although I would of liked to seen a better effect from the gun, no smoke or anything =/

^in my video I didnt get a good run on it since well, it was hard to see where the tank was till I got closer since there was no enemy in it witch would have showed me where the target was.

Having not played AF yet, I can't comment if it needs to be changed. However, I have a feeling that if it was similar to the 'USI' A10, people would be bitching non stop.

No it shouldn't.

The heat generated from that gun is outrageous - I don't think you quite grasp the amount of firepower that gun generates.

The A10 looks good but one thing I like about DC and USI is that you could hear it coming from a mile away LOL. When your cranking it down in a T72 and you hear the whining of those twin engines... few sounds strike more fear than that.
