PLEASE HELP BFR NoT WORKING!

for some reason my friend can get bfr files from the same server we were on at the same time but i cant get them. they dont even show up in my BFR list. can anyone help me or put me in the right direction cause im trying to make a movie for my clan and this is put my movie to a stop cause i cant get the stuff we did to show up.

yea i am going to do that but hes not always goin to be in the sirver with me and its more of an annoyance that i cant get it to work.

Chris BR demos have a limited lifespan. What I mean by this is servers only store a set number of BR demos before they get overwritten. If your friend downloaded the BR demo after he finished playing and you waited a day or 2 then chances are the file you are after has been over written.

There is another problem with BR and that is when you have too many bookmarks, new BR demos won't show up. Delete all your old bookmarks. The same is true for when you have too many BR demos. Move them to another folder and the BR demos you downloaded will show up in the right hand column.

The 3rd problem are server crashes. Since 1.3 crashes servers like crazy everytime a server crashes the BR demos restart again @ demo001 so it will overwrite them a lot quicker than before.

yea that could fix my promblem if i had a bfr files it seems the server wont give them to me at all i dont have a single one. and i tried to see if it was there right after the round finished and he had a bfr file there and i didnt im still stumped.

Start deleting the oldest ones, then what happens is the bookmark will just appear. It seems like there are a limit to how many bookmarks and BR demos you can have. Found this out quite some time ago from our server and the crap load of bookmarks I had. When I looked for the game I just played it wasn't there. It also coincided with a patch release so I thought BR wasn't working. I spent 4 bloody days going over the BR setup only to find this fix out and that the original BR setup still worked fine.

that would help alot but the thing is that i have no files in my BFR AT ALL. not even ones i havent downloaded yet but it shows a scroll bar to move up and down but i have no files there to view. Ok now this is just play getting annoying.

BTT is anyone else havin this promblem and know a solution im startin to think ima have to convert to an older version to do this wihich is goin to be a pain in the A$$.

Ok I had the same problem, use the scroll bar and scroll all the way down. I bet the BR demos will appear. Do you have SF as well or multiple accounts? Scroll down and I bet you find them but as I said they may not all appear. Start deleting them then you will see others start to appear. You may have to exit the game and reload them for the others to appear. You may have to do this with your other accounts and also SF, EF etc.

This happens to both bookmarks and BR demos you have downloaded when you have too many. I think 30 bookmarks and demos is about all you can store before the new ones start to disappear.

Also you can't convert to an older version. BR demos only work on the version that the game was played. ie if you played a game and a BR demo was recorded using patch 1.3 you can't download them with patch 1.22 or vice versa. They will show up as red and if you try and play them you will CTD.

i heard that after the round ends your supposed to wait for the other round to load up for it to send the link to your community tab

sure enough it was true, and i got cheated of a demo where i shot a tank down with a T90 from the other side of the gulf of oman map due to my impatience :(
