2 computers, same IP: CD Key error

My brother and I have seperate computers, but share an internet connection and a copy of BF2. We can play on seperate servers at the same time without problem, but whenever we try to join a server together the last to log on gets the CD Key error.

We've tried the various fixes already mentioned for solo computers and none of them works.

Is there a way around this error?

You cannot share a copy of BF2. You must have 1 valid copy (ie. CD-Key) per computer. You are breaking the EULA by having it on 2 computers.

Buy another copy: problem solved.
