Left and right buttons bind fine (mouse button 0 and 1). the middle mouse button will not bind, nothing happens when i press it when trying to assign it a command in the options/controls (should be mouse button 2). ive tried setting it to autoscroll and universal scroll in the setpoint control panel and neither work. if i assign middle mouse button as a keystroke in setpoint it will bind as that key in the game; but i do not want this, i want to bind it as mouse button 2.
any help?
thanks

did you get any software for the mouse, so windows recognise that the mouse has a middle button?

are you referring to the extra middle button? I don't think I bound that key on mine, I use the extra buttons on each side for bringing up the spotting & chat screens... I'll double check and see how mine is set up...

i heard the special gaming software for the mx310 was crap so i didnt install it. i tried downloading the newest drivers from logitech but it says 'a newer version of setpoint is detected on your system' and closes. this is because i already had it installed for the mediaplay mouse i use. the button im referring to is the scroll wheel button, but all buttoms besides the left and right buttons (0 & 1) behave the same including the side buttons: wont bind unless i assign as a keystroke. windows does recognize these buttons because they work in other programs, just not bf2.
thanks
